Pretty cap or hat head made of many fine strands of woven wicker, the base of which is covered with a larger twisted leaf (from a banana tree?). This object was handcrafted in the early 2000s in senegal, where it is mainly used to display wigs and headdresses. Today it can be used to display wigs and hats in a hairdresser's, milliner's or clothing store window. But this favorite can also be displayed in your interior as a decorative piece in its own right. I dusted it off carefully. It is in very good condition, very clean, no damaged bits. It measures 39 cm in height with a head diameter of approximately 18 cm.
