Wooden shop counter from the 1930s/40s. Blue paint finish with a slightly distressed appearance in places on the front, sides, and top. Interior shelves in pine, with a natural raw wood finish. Some signs of use, along with a few old marks from insects, but the entire piece has been treated and this counter can be used as is without prior restoration. (It can also be completely stripped or repainted according to taste.) The interior covering (base and shelves) is not original but in keeping with the overall style and counters of that era. The two vertical dividers (composed of three panels each) are removable and can be taken out as needed. (The fixing battens are nailed and can also be removed if necessary.) Note the small zinc "patch" nailed to the front, which conceals a round hole likely made at the time for passing wires. Dimensions: Width 159 cm Height 78 cm Depth 47 cm Usable height between the shelves is approximately 32 to 35 cm.
