We are delighted to offer for sale this splendid original chest of drawers from around 1760, stamped George III Thomas Wilson in mahogany. A very aesthetically pleasing and well-crafted chest, fully stamped on the upper left drawer T Wilson 68 Great Queen Street London for Thomas Wilson. Thomas Wilson is known as a broker and furniture expert at this address between 1821-29. The chest has been lightly restored with minor wood repairs and a light sanding and polishing; nothing has been done to remove the age-related patina, which dates back over 260 years. It can be fully restored with complete sanding and a French lacquer finish for perfect gallery quality. Dimensions: Height 107.5 cm, Width 113 cm, Depth 55.5 cm.
