This is a modernist candle holder made of solid silver/chromed metal, designed by the famous Danish sculptor and designer Jens Quistgaard for the brand Dansk Designs. This model was produced in polished stainless steel (or silver/chromed metal depending on the series), a material that Quistgaard loved to work with for its very futuristic mirror-like appearance typical of Space Age design. It is cast in polished solid metal, giving it significant weight and a superb shine. This iconic model, shaped like an hourglass or inverted diabolo, is emblematic of Jens Quistgaard's work.
