Pair of ochre velvet shepherdesses dating from the 50s, with gilded metal base. The shepherdess is a large armchair whose solid sides rise to the level of the belt. This type of furniture appeared in 1725. Our velvet armchairs are distinguished by the fluid design with their tapered armrests on the outside, with rounded profiles, and slender and arched feet.
