Painted Folk Art Bridal Cupboard

Extremely decorative painted bridal cabinet in soft blue with orange accents. This bridal cabinet comes from southern germany, to be precise from franconia. The piece of furniture has been restored at some point, which means that some of the moldings have been replaced, as has the lock. All in all, the cabinet has lost none of its characteristic appearance. The soft blue color is quite special and contrasts beautifully with the sides and the door, which are painted in more subdued shades. The painting in the panels is also beautiful to look at. The inside is equipped with a shelf and coat hooks, but if desired, more shelves can easily be added. In the past, it was customary to give bridal furniture like this as a gift to the couple at a wedding.
