Can also be used as a bottle or carafe. 1970s made by the italian ceramics company deruta. Deruta, a medieval hilltop town in umbria, italy, is best known as a major center for the production of maiolica (painted earthenware with a tin glaze) during the renaissance and later. Pottery production began in the early middle ages, although no preserved piece can be attributed with certainty before around 1490. Height: approx 15cm width: approx 8cm depth: approx 5cm.
