LMVDR design armchair model Barcelona, unknown edition from the 70/80s. Designed in 1929 by ludwig mies van der rohe based on a design by sergius ruegenberg for the german pavilion at the world exhibition in barcelona. Icon of modernity. Upholstered in cognac-coloured calfskin. Leather with great patina and flattering feel. Not to be compared with the smooth-emptyers of current production. Two copies available. Bought in the sixties at knoll in frankfurt a.m.
