✨ Authentic engraving from 1959 (66 years old). Subject: Five-leaf and Tormentil. 🌿 Format: 20 X 26 cm. 🌿 Edition: between 1956 and 1966. 🌿 Light cream-coloured cardboard, elegant and vintage. 🌿 Condition: very good, with a very subtle deliberate vintage effect during printing. This illustration adopts the naturalistic style of botanical plates from the 18th to early 19th centuries, characterised by a precise and isolated representation of the plant. The drawing, with great scientific rigour, is balanced by an elegant and decorative composition, highlighting leaves, flowers, and stems in their various states. It features muted and nuanced colours, close to watercolour, with a focus on readability, also in herbalism. This plate, dating from the mid-20th century, served as medicinal advertising with the advertisement on the back. The illustration presents three botanical species with their complete morphological characteristics: the Greater Five-leaf with pink flowers and palmate leaves, the Marsh Five-leaf with orange-red flowers, and the Tormentil with delicate small blue flowers. Each plant is depicted with its roots, stems, leaves, and inflorescences in a detailed scientific style. 🌸 Secure shipping: Rigid protection to ensure condition upon arrival. 🌸 Bulk purchase: Possible discounts for the purchase of multiple plates.
