French buffet from the 1950s-1960s, inspired by Scandinavian design, combining generous storage and a light silhouette. The brand is not identified, but the design of the sides, the care in the assembly, and the quality of the veneer are indeed characteristic of high-quality productions from that era. Its rounded, slightly slanted sides extend beyond the top and form small wings, connected at the back by a discreet edge. It rests on tapered compass legs made of a lighter wood, giving it an airy appearance. The oak veneer front features beautiful chevrons in a blonde shade with a golden sheen. On the left, a large door opens with its key to reveal a compartment with a shelf. On the right, a drop-down with a golden handle uncovers a niche with a shelf and unfolds into a tabletop, like a small bar. Below, a wide drawer completes the storage. It will find its place in a living room, dining room, or entryway. Completely renovated: full sanding, replacement of damaged veneer, matte varnish in light oak shade, cleaned hardware. Very good condition for its age.
