DOUBLE BED, 1970 Prisunic edition from 1970 to 1976 Bed made up of two parts with their integrated bedside table and lamp, in polyester reinforced with molded fiberglass and white lacquered. Marc Held campaigns to change the world with his objects: “beauty would be born from function and would be equal to good”. And when Prisunic launched a catalog of modern, simple, economical furniture sold by mail order - a first in France - it largely participated in this adventure. This one-piece bed with soft shapes, which benefits from a simple molding technique at low cost - its demoulding is done in a single operation - won the industrial aesthetic prize in 1972. Some gaps but not cracked. Used condition consistent with age. Mattress of 140 by 190 cm
