Morna Bed with Bedside Tables by Afra & Tobia Scarpa for Molteni, 1970s

Designed in 1972 by the celebrated Italian design duo Afra Scarpa and Tobia Scarpa for Molteni, the “Morna” bed is an iconic example of Italian modernism, combining luxurious materials with strong architectural form. The overall size is H: 60 / W: 325 / D: 225 cm. The composition consists of three separate elements: the bed itself and two integrated bedside tables, which together form the headboard structure. The bedside units are finished in glossy black lacquer and fitted with distinctive quarter-circle drawers with internal organizers, blending sculptural design with practical functionality. A defining feature of the piece is the use of black leather upholstery along all outer edges and original leather cushions, emphasizing both comfort and authenticity. This set will be a true vintage focal point in your bedroom.
