Mid-century Stoll vintage workshop chair

Workshop chair or architect's chair, the specimen design dates from the years 1920-1930. It is as functional as it is aesthetic, in a pure bauhaus spirit. The pieces of wood of the base, the seat and the backrest are worked in the thickness of the material, for a sophisticated rendering, both soft and raw. The seat is adjustable in height from 44 to 56cm. The seat is a swiss production, the martin stoll plate is always present at the back (stamped stoll). Basement, seat and backrest are made of solid wood, of a warm and patinated hue with softness. The stoll office chair is in good condition, stable, solid, comfortable, but deliberately left in its 'juice', namely patinated by time, (confer photos), with the usual traces due to wear and use.
