Louis XVI convertible chair

Louis XVI period convertible chair in very good condition. Refurbished strapping and trim. Walnut structure, solid and beautifully patinated, decorated with sculptures of florets. The interest of the convertible chair lies in its small size, its lightness, its comfort with a padded semi-circular seat and an enveloping back. The shoulder-level back of the convertible perfectly fits the shape of the back. Its great stability is assured thanks to relatively low feet. The armrests positioned in the extension of the feet flare outwards to form a curve joining the side of the backrest horizontally. They're lined with cuffs. The armrest console is curved in shape. Seat height: 42 cm.
