If the corner quadripod and the "saddle" seat shape offered a seating ergonomics adapted to people "of the robe" (ecclesiasts, magistrates, etc.), it was also dedicated to ladies in public places, department stores, hotels of the belle époque... This poster by frank hazen around 1895 still bears witness to this - see photo. Oak copy, "queen anne" base. Thermoformed seat bottom with perforated pattern (also used from the end of the 1880s in thonet and type curved wood seats). Very good condition, waxed, ready to install.
