Ashtray / pocket emptier Murano sommerso 1960

Very beautiful vintage ashtray/trinket dish made of thick Murano glass, Italy, circa 1960s. Crafted using the Sommerso technique, it features a stunning layering of deep red, amber orange, and bluish grey hues. The significant thickness of the glass creates beautiful gradients and plays of transparency, particularly spectacular in the light. Its organic and slightly asymmetrical shape is characteristic of Mid-Century Italian glass design. In very good condition. There is a small internal bubble in the glass, related to the artisanal manufacturing process. Dimensions: Ø 13.5 cm × H 5.5 cm.
