Bookcase 1900 Louis XVI style

Former louis xvi-style library cabinet 1900 with a solid oak structure and a geometric walnut veneer. In the lower part, a large drawer opens with a brass shell handle. Four shelves are adjustable to the racks. One of them has two small drawers in amboine's magnifying glass to be positioned at the desired height. A richly carved cornice of antique motifs brings a monumental decorative touch, inspired by classical architecture: an antique drape wraps a blind cartridge topped with a ribbon and framed with leafy coils. The ledge in the shape of a gendarme's hat is framed by two tops. The columned studs and facades are decorated with vertical grooves. two oak panels adorn the back of the library. also to be used in dressing rooms for sweaters, pants, lingerie baskets, etc. State: cleaned, processed but kept "in its juice".
