Beautifully cast in the 1970s, made in india, beautiful set of solid aged brass, seashell shaped bookends, in an art deco style. Anti-scratch rubber underneath. The most beautiful decorative effect on a desk, in a library. Very heavy, weighted, they can be used as paperweights. Perfect to offer. Beautiful vintage condition. Nice patina and some traces of oxidation consistent with their age. Also bear scratches and impacts on the edge without harming the charm of the object.
