1950s wall unit, Nils Strinning

String shelf designed by nils strinning in 1949. The system consists of six metal ladders in black with ten shelves and a desk element with two drawers. The surfaces are veneered in ash. This original string shelf is much better processed and of a better quality than many wall shelves that hit the market in the 50s and 60s. Quality features. – high quality veneer. – 2 cm thick shelves made of blockboard, which prevent sagging. – stable shelf holders that compensate for slight unevenness. – more stable ladders. Container: w 78 cm, h 10 cm, d 30 cm. 3 shelves: w 78 cm, h 2 cm, d 30 cm. 7 shelves: w 78 cm, h 2 cm, d 20 cm. Good restored condition with slight signs of usage.
