Soliflore vase painted decor Iznik Türkiye

Charming little vase with hand-painted decoration in the pretty traditional colors, blue, turquoise blue, green and brown, ceramics from the iznik region in turkey. The town of iznik was famous for its ceramics until the 17th century, then the know-how was lost. With the return of iznik's notoriety in the 1980s, many pieces were manufactured in kütaya and then painted in iznik. I don't know if this is the case for this vase which dates from the end of the 20th century. It is well balanced: its heavy base with a good thickness of material at the belly level ensures good stability. It is in good general condition but has some original or non-original defects: an original scratch at the bottom of the vase and chips in the painted decoration (a dozen brown hearts of the flowers have "jumped" and two chips on the turquoise blue), as well as a tiny chip on the edge of the opening. It measures 17 cm in height, 9 cm in diameter at the level of the belly.
