Elegant ceramic vase from the famous Accolay workshop, model "Gauloise", characteristic of French production from the 1950s-1960s. This piece features a generous and balanced shape, enhanced by a remarkable decoration of turquoise horizontal stripes on a matte black background. The glaze, with vibrant shades of blue and aquamarine, creates a striking contrast with the dark texture of the base, giving the whole a sculptural and decidedly modern presence. Typical of the work of Accolay ceramists, this vase perfectly illustrates the sought-after post-war aesthetic: clean lines, expressive materials, and glazes with subtle effects. The vase is signed underneath the base. In very good condition, no chips or cracks.
