Oil on canvas in a wooden frame: title "In the Esterel" indicated on the back. Circa 1940s/50s. Signed Rene Lafond at the bottom right and stamped on the back with the artist's address. Amusing detail: indication "SNCF", the painter was probably employed by the SNCF. Beautiful piece: see the detailed photos. Very good overall condition, minor缺失 and crack in the blue sky (see zoomed photo) and some marks/scratches on the frame.
