Rare Vintage Gradual lounge sofa in black leather by Cini Boeri for Knoll

Gradual lounge sofa - cini boeri - knoll. Stunning & rare gradual sofa in black leather. Designed by cini boeri for knoll. In 1970, boeri introduced her first piece designed specifically for knoll—the gradual lounge, an innovative, modular and dynamic adjustable lounge system. She later recalled that she, “tried to do the design in a most vigorous and strict manner. It was a system, a new way to produce a sofa in plastic. It was assembled of many seats with the possibility to move them, making a circle larger or smaller for a conversation. The frame of this sofa is made out of black fiberglass. The seats and cushions are upholstered in black leather. The backrest has another great feature, scilicet a rectangular gap providing a space for storing personal belongings or books. Condition: overall in a good vintage condition. Some scratches on the fiberglass. Normal signs of use for its age. No damage or reparations. Dimensions: w233 X d100 X h67 cm. The sofa doesn't have labels.
