Sponge toilet box, ceramic, Moulin des Loups, 1950

Here is a box which comes from a toiletry set from the 1950s from the moulin des loups factory in the north of france, madrid model: black and gold decor. The box has an opening in the bottom of the lid to let the water drain from the sponge, once dry the sponge was placed in the box and the lid which allowed the water to drain was turned over the sponge.in perfect condition, 19 cm X h 5 cm.
