Curved chest of drawers - 18th century - Louis XV period

Beautiful curved chest of drawers, with rich bronze ornamentation. 18th century furniture, louis XV period and style, also called rocaille style. Dimensions (height/width/depth): 81 X 115 X 61.5cm. Shape: curved. Openings: 3 rows of drawers - 2 long drawers and 2 small drawers in the first row, under the marble top. Ornamentation: on the front, rocaille style framing strips and corner scraps cover the curved uprights of the furniture. The pointed clogs of stretched foliage conform to the shape of the foot. On the drawers, the rocaille style pull handles are fixed and take the shape of ribbed, contorted and asymmetrical acanthus leaves. 5 false keyholes punctuate the front of the furniture, including 3 in the first row. Marble: morello red also called royal red (original marble) - thickness 3 cm. Marquetry: rosewood and violet wood, surrounded by boxwood nets in reserve of sinuous shapes.
