Signed by Claude Pruffert, a ceramic artisan based in Vallauris in the 1950s and 1960s, this piece tells the story of holidays of yesteryear: stylized fish, starfish, plump turtle… all in enameled relief, in an explosion of bold colors. A rare model and very representative of the joyful and artisanal production of Vallauris at that time. Each motif was modeled by hand, in a naive and warm spirit typical of Claude Pruffert.
