Table, by R. Guillerme and J. Chambron, "votre Maison" editions 1960

Table bass in solid oak, the result of the combined work of Robert Guillerme (1913-1990) and Jacques Chambron (1914-2010). The first is a designer and interior furniture designer, who graduated major from the boulle school in paris. The second, a graduate of the school of arts in reims, was, at the beginning of his career, painter decorator. From the meeting of these two men, the company "your house" was born in 1949. Then associated with the cabinetmaker emile dariosecq who manufactures, guillerme creates, and chambron commerce. This table consists of an oval tray lined with twelve granite tiles, ceramic, with grey motifs all different from each other. At 4.5 cm thick, this top inspires solidity. It rests on four straight feet with a square section, finished with a shoot. They are connected in pairs by ties forming a cross brace, which finishes to reassure on the stability of the whole. In this petite table de salon, we find some of the characteristics of guillerme's creations, namely the work of the oak and the predominance of the claires.
