Tomb chest of drawers, Louis XV

Lovely tomb-shaped chest of drawers from the 1950s. Curved top, chamfered edges, matte black color. 2 large solid wood drawers, curved on the front, assembled in dovetail, with pretty gilt bronze handles. Regency-style relief motifs: scallop shell, acanthus leaf. Scalloped and carved lower band, acanthus leaf decorations. Worked sides, in carved and curved solid walnut. 4 curved legs, louis XV style. Very pretty chest of drawers, traditionally made in france. Furniture from a second home in a very small village in the south of france.
