Very large wooden slat basket

This large wooden slat basket is just incredible! It has an impressive size and is equipped with two pairs of "arms" to be transported by two people, like a sedan chair... I don't know what it was used for exactly, perhaps to transport hay...some something light and bulky...if you know more, I would be very interested if you told me about it! For its size, it is not that heavy, the slats are openwork and quite light. I think it is oak but without certainty... two or three slats seem not to be original, they are made from a lower quality wood and have screw holes (which I treated by injection and brush with white vinegar). It is in its original state, not repaired, but cleaned with a brush and soapy water. I imagine it on a terrace, sheltered from a roof overhang, to store mattresses for deck chairs, buoys for the swimming pool, or even in a large dormitory, to store duvets and cushions. .. It is in good general condition, but shows all the signs of its age and use: 4 broken slats, splinters of wood, scratches and various stains. It measures 80 cm high. The trapezoid-shaped basket measures 100 cm by 68 cm at the top edge and 85 cm by 54 cm at the base. With arms, the total length is 168 cm. It weighs approximately 25 kg.
