Oil painting on canvas by Luc Verger, boats, 90x60cm.

Marine painting depicting fishing boats (probably trawlers or tuna boats) at dock or in port, identifiable by their shrouds and suspended nets. The work is signed in the lower left corner by Luc VERGER, a French painter known for his marine scenes, port scenes, and compositions that use a lot of texture. It is an oil on canvas created with a knife and brush. There is a very pronounced texture work, particularly a deliberate crackle effect or textured material on the hulls of the boats. The canvas is stretched over a simple key wooden frame with a central crossbar. The mounting dates from the second half of the 20th century (1960s to 1980s). Width 92, height 61.
