High drapery table 1900 walnut

1900 walnut table, drapery table or presentation table style, with its top with raised edges. We love its rather constrained format, the wood type, but especially the fuselage of the base, with its refined turned wood work, finishing on a very thin fuselage (in patinated blackened metal). We have preserved its patina, which gives it all its charm. The covering on the top (in blackened leather) has also been preserved as is, because it offers a beautiful charm and a certain authenticity, while contrasting nicely with the wood and recalling the color of the lower fuselage of the base. It is patinated, and damaged in places (please refer to the photos). It could obviously be easily removed, so we would have a wooden top. Or replaced with any other covering of your choice. Stable, and robust.
