19th-century solid wood farmhouse bench. Sturdy structure with sculpted side legs and a slatted seat. Straight backrest with horizontal crosspieces forming closed armrests. Traditional assembly with nails and mortise and tenon joints, visible tool marks, a testament to vernacular craftsmanship. The legs feature a slight arc cut, lightening the overall appearance while maintaining stability and strength.
