Artist: Pierre Lacroux (1909 Montpellier - 1993 Privas) Student of the École des Beaux-Arts under André Lhote. Technique/Support: Gouache enhanced with pigments on drawing paper. Dimensions: 24 x 32 cm (sheet) Frame: None. Weight: 25 g. Artwork in good condition, very colorful. Landscape of Provence, forest, figure, Cap-Ferrat, Beaulieu-sur-Mer. Signed and dated March 1981 lower left. Pierre Lacroux exhibited, among other places, at the Salon des Indépendants, Salon d'Automne in Paris, Salon de l'Éducation Nationale. Founding member of the Salon du Sud-Est in Lyon. Vice-President of the Salon d'Automne Vivarois in Privas, etc. Artist listed in the Bénézit. See photos for details.
