Brass log basket

Charming antique log basket made of solid brass and hammered brass... Its elegant and timeless design is enhanced by extensive hammering, giving it a very decorative textured appearance. The basket rests on four lion paw-shaped feet, typical of Victorian or Empire style pieces, adding a touch of refinement (although this basket is a mid-century production). The large central handle, securely riveted, allows for easy transport of firewood.
