Thonet N°1 Art Nouveau reading table - 1895 -

The “lese tisch”, “reading table” no. 1 has been proven at least since 1875. In tripod and 3 volutes. A very pleasant, well-balanced, remarkable and sought-after piece of furniture. Here it is in a rare color: light walnut. It is more frequently found in mahogany color, or even black. Total height: 79 cm, diameter: 45 cm. Walnut top marked with dark veins, in perfect condition. A pretty stamp under the tray and traces of label. It can be assumed to have been produced around 1890/1900. More photos and information on request.
