Oil on animal canvas, from the 40s and 50s, representing a cat and a fly. It is signed at the bottom, on the right: N Krugler. Note, small discrete gaps (photos), but no holes. Back annotations: Alsatian painter Krugler and a stamp from an exhibition on the painter, with the dates from 3 to 20 11 78. Pretty oil in very good general condition. Dimensions: chassis 25 by 34 cm // weight: 256 g (Nicolas Krugler (1907-1988), son of the painter Francois-Xavier Krugler. He lived in Brunstatt near Mulhouse, where he spent most of his life there. He drew inspiration from the elements of nature available to him, so he painted many still lifes, Alsatian villages and flowers. This discreet painter made very few exhibitions.)
