Gilt Bronze Lamp, Napoleon III Period – Mid-19th Century

Elegant gilded bronze lamp dating from the napoleon III era. Richly carved with acanthus leaves and plant motifs in a garland, the double-evolving top shaft rests on a cylindrical stepped base ending in small ball feet decorated with acanthus leaves. Two ram's heads adorn the sides of this lamp. The socket is held by a pear-shaped tube. This light, sparkling with its golden patina, will appeal to lovers of authentic and period objects. ******** period: mid-19th century excellent condition. Electrification redone and operational.
