19th century French folding iron daybed

A most unusual and rarely found mid 19th century "sleigh bed" style folding iron bed, made from cast iron, wrought iron and brace iron, intricately decorated with foliate designs. The bed is sturdy and folds easily, no damage to the body. The bed comes with a clean, custom-made mattress by Craftsman Direct Verlo (Princess range), tic-tac finish. It also includes a custom silk cover with 2 pillows for each end. Custom mattress dimensions: 166cm (65.4") long X 101cm (40") wide X 20cm (8") high.
