Superb luminous glass globe, vintage 1940s. Scale 1: 80, 000, 000th. Drawn up by the french cartographer joseph forest, Edited by girard barrere & thomas, rue de buci in paris. Suppliers among others of the ministry of public instruction, now the national education. The glass globe is placed on a brushed aluminum base, typically art deco.
