Vintage Lounge Chair & Ottoman "Origlia" – Tawny Leather & Pirelli Straps

A reclining lounge chair set with its original ottoman, produced in the early 1970s by the Italian company Origlia (Savigliano). A rare model, perfectly representative of the Italian Space Age era with its organic lines and streamlined base. Characteristics & High-quality materials. Upholstery: Genuine tawny/cognac leather with button tufting, offering an original patina. Structure: Comfort guaranteed by original rubber straps from the Pirelli brand (Made in Great Britain). Mechanism: Equipped with a pneumatic cylinder from the Swiss manufacturer VERIN SA, allowing for adjustment of the tilt for an optimal relaxation position. Base: Aluminium cast base (RZ marking under the base). The set is functional and structurally in excellent condition. The leather shows a very nice overall patina with some normal signs of use for its age. Note: a superficial scratch with a loss of material on the leather. Cylinders: stop positions need to be adjusted. The set is presented in the photos with and without its armrests (available and sold with). A vintage eye-catcher for lovers of 1970s Italian design!
