Here is a tea set in flamed sandstone from denbac. Including 1 teapot, a sugar jar and a milk or cream pourer. Each of the pieces is signed "denbac" below (not very visible in the photos). Period: around 1930. The decoration down is in relief. Condition: set in beautiful condition, note: a small shine on the inner edge of the lid (last photo), as in the photos. Dimensions: teapot: height: 15 cm, length: 21.5 cm, diameter: 14 cm; sugar bowl: h: 12, l: 16, d: 13 cm; pourer h: 9 cm, l: 9, d: 8 cm. Weight: 1, 600 kg, package: 2.5/3 kg approx. Denbac is the trademark of rené denert and rené-louis balichon. Created in 1908 in vierzon, it produced and marketed a sandstone production of tableware, decorative and advertising objects. In 1937, on the death of rené denert, the activity declined, then suspended during the second world war. It painfully resumed its activity in 1945 but ceased definitively in 1952.
