Magnificent piece of professional furniture in solid chestnut. Formerly a notary's cabinet around 1940. Originally, the drawers were secured by two wooden side strips with locks (no keys). Entirely in its original condition, with its superb original patina, this piece of furniture has interesting proportions. The chestnut grain brings a lot of character to the drawer fronts. The buttons are made of rusty-looking metal. Please note, as this piece of furniture is old, it shows some signs of wear. However, it is in good general condition and the 16 drawers open without any difficulty (drawer dimensions: h14 cm X l 37.5 cm X d 27 cm).
