Vintage Empoli blown glass jug

The pitcher is in very good condition, no accidents, no chips. However, it has some fairly superficial scratches from use on the surface, mainly at the belly part. The pitcher is beautifully made, heavy and opulent, in blown empoli glass, renowned for its very good quality. Magnificent free form, with soft and balanced curves, flared at the top, covered with alternating hollows and bumps, which form like facets in the glass, and which make the surface undulate. The glass is quite thick, especially at the back of the piece. Interwar italian production.
