Very beautiful pair of large wall sconces in the Louis XVI style, from the late 19th century. Made of bronze. Original gilding in very good condition with a lovely shine. The wall part is decorated with oak leaves and acanthus, topped with a plume of flowers, fruits, and foliage. The arms of light are decorated with foliage and beads. The chiselling of the sconces has been done by hand. They are stamped on the back: rf (see last photo). They are electrified and tested, with new wires (for E14 bulb).
