Oil on wood dated 1912, signed Bourgeois, typical of the Barbizon School. Plein-air painting magnifying a dreamlike unspoiled nature with which man during long romantic walks seals an ideal harmony. Note the Napoleon III period frame in blackened wood with golden friezes has some defects visible in the photos. The work is pierced with 3 small holes without damaging its general aesthetic appearance.
