Ceramic jug circa 1950

Superb glazed ceramic jug from the 1950s. Free and organic silhouette typical of the design of the era. Very graphic, almost sculptural asymmetrical shape, with its “fat lava” glazing in warm shades (orange, brown, green), offering a particularly decorative effect of texture and drips. An object that straddles the line between vase and sculpture, ideal as a statement piece on a shelf or console. Origin: France. Period: 1950s. Material: glazed ceramic. Colours: orange, brown, green.
