Rare service of 6 old hollow soup plates in marian blue, pale blue monogrammed m (and maybe another letter) from a castle in the dauphiné. Period second half XIX. Nb the plates are very hollow. Stamped by the english manufacturer brown westhead moore & co specialized in the production of services including many pieces for castles and hostelry. The factory also offered the possibility of personalizing its pieces of crockery with the cipher, coat of arms, motto of its noble buyers. Distributed in france by m chanut 35 rue tronchet paris.
