Vintage Jaz pendulum in formica 60

Vintage "electric" wall clock, talic, yellow / limoncello, formica with pale gold decoration. And a black formica song, made by the famous french watch company, i'm jaz electronics. This model was a revolution and a major success when it was made public (there was no inventory available for several months) because it was the very first model to operate with a battery (no need for key). He was in production. 1959 to 1962. The clock is sixty years old. This is known as talic 1858-12 from 1960 under the reference 1858-54. And was presented as "new" on page 22 of the jaz 1959/60 catalogue. Jaz removed it from its catalogue in 1963/64. The design and shape also evoke a very modern, futuristic, "space-age" look. In line with the mentality of the time in which the clock was produced. Clock features: electric lr14 battery movement. Icf caliber and french license (for the electric pendulum.) A yellow formica case / limoncello with rounded black formica edges. The front of the clock has a convex glass with a silver/chrome border and can be opened. Pale gold plastic filling around the inside of the glass. Grey brushed metal background (slightly worn colours around numbers 4 and 5) Black numbers, hour and minute hands with black finish and central needle, "seconds, " bright red. Dimensions: h: 22 xl: 28 cm X p: 7 cm. Slight traces of use and patina of age-compatible wear marks. The clock has been tested and works perfectly with a 1.5-volt lr-14-c battery (not provided). Make sure you have the clock straight when you put it on the wall and it will work. The back of the clock has a black button to set the time and a wall hook. These models are becoming more and more difficult to find especially in these colors, and in good working condition.
