Louis XV style workbench in rosewood veneer and solid rosewood for the four legs. These, curved, are decorated at the top with blackened wood offcuts. The contoured top reveals a mirror - framed by a blackened wood strip - and a drawer with a sliding compartment divided into 3 compartments. Under this drawer, a small sliding work compartment, the interior of which is also in speckled maple. 19th century Condition of wear, would be even more beautiful once restored.
