Lafuma folding chair 60s model Chantazur before 1968

Lafuma folding chair, chantazur model, which, when folded, has a minimal footprint, it slips everywhere! It dates back to before 1968: this is attested by the label on the frame. Label, partially erased, where one can only guess the word "patented s.g.d.g, " a reference that disappeared in 1968. But this label is the same as those on two chairs identical to this one, which I had in my possession, and where this mention was clearly readable. We also see a difference in structure with similar models: a reinforcement bar that also acts as a foot rest and gives a nice design to the chair, even folded. And small detail that has its charm: the fabric of the back is studded. The structure is made of gold tubular metal, the seat and back are padded and covered with a fabric (original) striped with mustard and gold colors. This chair is still solid and stable, in good structural condition, but shows signs of its well-packed fifties: stains, scratches, and gaps on the golden paint, at the level of the structure. The fabric is faded (no stain too visible). Used on the seat, it has two small snags. Two small snags also on the studded edge of the back. The padding looks in an acceptable state, not too crowded. This chair can be used as it is, but it is also ideal for a retapissage project. I cleaned it quickly: rag with cleanser on the structure, and threshing for dust (no leaching). Unfolded, this chair measures 80 cm in height at the back, the footprint is 46 cm wide and 44 cm deep. The seat is about 43 cm high. When folded, it is 5 or 6 cm thick, 96 cm long and 46 cm wide. It weighs about 4 kg.
